installation

A.    What is installation art?
Installation are is an art form in which the entire room or similar space is treated as a work of art to be entered and experienced
B.     What materials are used installation art?
Any material known can be used in installation art.
C.     Why make installation art? 
Installation art is created to enter, explore and experience it.
D.    Which artist/installation did I find most interesting?
I found fireflies on the water by Yayoi Kusama the most interesting installation because as you enter you enter your own imagination as well.
 
A. From the material reviewed, is there a inspiration piece that I feel a connection with?
 I feel a connection to the installation fireflies on the water because as a child I would go down by the river and try to catch fireflies.

B. What theme do I want to explore in my installation? Refer to your textbook if you need to review Themes of Art. (chapter 3 in text)
(Nature, Environment, Self, Mass Media, Consumerism, etc.)
 I would like to explore the natural world with my installation.
C. What materials will I use?
The materials I will use are flowers, pots, tables and chairs.

D. Where will this installation be located and why?
This installation will be located out because that is the largest space I have available to work with.

My installation has a number of different flowers in pots on tables and chairs.
5. Analyze your installation. Be sure to use the worksheet from Project #3 as your guide.
My installation uses the elements color because of the different colored flowers, line with the railings of the deck, and space because the installation takes up the space on the deck.
6. What are your thoughts on the planning and creation of a site specific installation?
The first thing I thought of was where to create my installation I chose to do it outdoors because of the large space and I also wanted a natural theme to it. Next I thought of what materials to use
