wk 10 video

1.    For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
The key concept for the lowdown on lowbrow: west coast pop art is that lowbrow art is not surreal. The key concept of displaying modern art the tate approach is that there are intellectual issues associated with the ways of displaying modern art. The key concept of Bones of Contention: Native American Archaeology is  standing up for what you believe in. The key concept of George Eastman House: Picture Perfect is George Eastman made photography possible and that photography is a complicated process.
2.    Do the videos relate to the creation of your Art Exhibition project? If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.
The video the lowdown on lowbrow: west coast pop art does not relate to my art exhibit in ways of the art pieces are illustrates but it does relate to my principal of war because lowbrow influenced artists to create such work such as the cold war. Displaying Modern Art: The Tate Approach does not relate to my creation because I am not displaying the art work in a museum but in a powerpoint. Bones of Contention: Native American Archaeology relates to my creation because they both deal with people fighting for a cause they believe in.  George Eastman House: Picture Perfect relates to my creation because I have some photographs in my slideshow.
3. What is your opinion of the films? Do they add depth to understanding of the art concepts you practiced while creating your curation project?
The films were different they did add depth to my understanding of how there are many concepts in ways to display a piece of art. I am not really sure what Bones of Contention: Native American Archaeology had to do with creating my curation. George Eastman House: Picture Perfect adds depth to my understanding of the photographs I chose for my curation.
